Decorated door contest winners are:  1st place – Mr. Schilter, 2nd place – Mrs. Prieser and 3rd place goes to Mrs. Shearer!  Honorable mention goes out to Ms. Rowles and Mrs. Hanscam.  Prizes will be delivered today.

Any students that received a letter and application to fill out for National Honor Society please make sure you get your application and recommendation letters in by Wednesday @ 3:30 PM.

Track will be traveling today to North Bend bus departs at 12:30.  Varsity Softball and JV Baseball will have a double header in North Bend games times 3 and 5, bus will depart at the end of 3 period.  Varsity Baseball and JV Softball play in a double header at home game times are 3 and 5.  Good luck to you all!

Bruins, the fourth quarter of the school year is a critical time to work hard.  As Pele, the great soccer player said, “Success is no accident.  It is hard work, perseverance, learning,  studying, sacrifice, and most of all love of what you’re doing or learning to do.”  Work hard today Bruins!

Today is the National Day of Silence, a student-led national event to bring awareness to the silencing effects of anti LGBTQ bulling and harassment in schools.  The LGBTQ+  and Straight Alliance Club is participating in this important awareness event, and they invite you to as well by taking a vow of silence during passing periods and breaks today.  The goal is to spread awareness of the silencing effects of bullying.  If you would like to support this important cause, consider taking a vow of silence today!

The annual Spring Blood Drive will be Thursday, April 27th in the gym – you must be 16 years old to donate blood.  Sign up with either Boat or Mellodee.

Seniors!  Your cap and gown order deadline is tomorrow, April 21st.  If you have not placed your cap and gown order you will need to place your order at highschool.herffjones.com or call 1-800-442-4696.

Prom Tickets are now on sale for the “Race Against Time” Junior/Senior Prom.  $25 for single and $40 for a couple.  Junior and Seniors can purchase their tickets before school at the office.  Prom will be held on April 29th in Smith River at the Howoquet Hall.

Good luck to the  Varsity Baseball team as they travel to Douglas to play in a Double Header at 3 & 5.  Varsity Softball as they will be playing at in a double header against Douglas.  Game times are 3 & 5.  Golf left this morning to compete at the Roseburg Country Club.  Tomorrow the track team will be participating in the Prefontaine Classic in Coos Bay – the bus will depart at 6:30 AM….Good luck to you tracksters!

Post Secondary Week starts Monday!  Decorate those 3rd period doors for prizes!  Play post secondary bingo for prizes.  More prizes are being added – check out the case by the office.  Extra bingo cards will be available in the Guidance Office on Monday.

Girls who are interested in playing Volleyball next year there is a sign up sheet at the front office.  Also if you are interested in keeping score or being a manager please sign up as well.

Sign ups for auditions to tryout for next year’s amazing choir classes is now underway.  Come to the auditorium for a sign up time.

Reminder to all Seniors, your Safe-n-Sober Permission Slips are required with your parent/guardian signature to attend the Safe & Sober Graduation Party at Wild River Pizza, June 10th.  The permission slip needs to be turned into the office with either Tina or Molly by May 15.  You can pick up the form at the front office.  All Seniors are being asked to donate 2 gift cards of your choice to the Graduation Party.  These too need to be turned in at the office by May 15th.

Tryouts are now underway for next year’s choir classes.  Sign up in the auditorium for a time.

If you are interested in trying out for Cheer please pick up a packet from the main office.
